The Hospitality Ministry, along with Prayer, Formation, and Service, are the four pillars of Stewardship under which we gather at SKD and live our lives.  It is an important ministry in that it creates an environment of “our doors are open to all” and encourages participation and sharing in our parish.  One important aspect of Hospitality is providing treats and refreshments after our masses and special events at SKD.

Who is Involved?

This ministry is provided by our parishioners – families, individuals, and the various SKD Councils and groups (KC’s, Kate’s Sisters. Etc.)  If we have enough volunteers, it usually results in covering one mass per quarter.  At the present time, especially since we have not been able to have hospitality during COVID, we are looking for volunteers-especially for Saturday service.  The Stewardship Council is responsible for the scheduling of Hospitality at SKD.
