Ignite/VBS

Ignite is a new opportunity of real growth for your middle school student.  Participants will spend the first three days on retreat, growing in leadership training and getting to know their faith better in a fun environment with their friends. Following the retreat, the Ignite participants will bring their training to real-life practice in a five-day, Vacation Bible School (VBS) day-camp style approach.

Each day of VBS, Ignite participants will begin work serving our pre-school and elementary children.  In the morning, the middle schoolers will lead an assigned group of elementary kids through the VBS activities and stations. Following VBS, Ignite participants will have lunch which is provided everyday.  during the week Ignite participants will have time for small group reflection, leadership development, powerful prayer experiences, and fun activities until 2pm. 

Using a mentoring model, this experience offers your middle school student an opportunity to learn leadership skills that will help them expand their gifts, grow in confidence, and serve the Church in a way that is suitable to their stage of development.
