First Communion

Eucharist is the "source and summit" of our lives as Christians.  Each Easter season, our faith community celebrates the children receiving their first Eucharist during our weekend liturgy during the Easter season. 

Requirements:

1. Be ready to start preparing for the Sacrament (generally 2nd grade or older)
2. Attend Engaging Our Faith sessions with their family.
3. Registered member of St. Katharine Drexel 
4. Baptized Catholic & have made their First Reconciliation
5. Attend required classes & liturgies
6. Work through home lessons as a family

Preparation for First Communion is offered once a year in the spring.
