But Easter is not just Easter Sunday - it is the 50 days between Easter Sunday (4/4) to Pentecost (5/23)! These 50 days are filled with the celebration of the Lord’s resurrection, the joy glorified life, and the victory over death. Absent the past 40 days of Lent, this joy is expressed through our “ALLELUIA!”

Even more so, the Octave of Easter (eight days, beginning with Easter Sunday, and concluding the following (Divine Mercy) Sunday) is an especially joyful time. Each of these eight days is so important that it is treated as a continuation of Easter Sunday itself!

So throughout these 50 days of Easter, let us treat it as a celebration! Continue to wish your friends a happy Easter. A celebration of resounding joy:
